In Session #5, participants will further explore what it takes to feel comfortable conducting a Citizen Science project. Participants will assess what other skills they need to develop in order to feel comfortable and confident in the project. Participants will develop a training plan and continue to improve their communication skills. They will also begin the actual planning of the project and develop a testing strategy that will help them gain more confidence in carrying out the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Theoretical Background<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In these activites, methods from personality development, project planning and software development are applied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Go through the activities in sequence, as the results build on each other. All activities can be used both for self-learning and in a group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Learning Goals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Participants will learn how to create a training plan for themselves that will later help them to better empathize with the learning situations of their own participants. Participants will further improve their communication skills and learn a step-by-step testing method that they can apply to their project.
